Transferring HD data

old computer using XP- motherboard died, New computer WIN 7- how to transfer old disc data to new disc?

You can just put it into the new computer.. if you have the right connections. If the drive is IDE you can get a usb enclosure or can get an IDE/Sata to usb adapter. If it's SATA, you can just put the drive in.. but if you still have the XP OS it might not boot right.. getting the IDE/SATA to usb adapter might be the best route.
