No Display on my new Build

Last response: in Components

I just finished my new build with an MSI 870 G45 motherboard, HIS Radeon HD 5770, a Raidmax Tornado Case, Thermaltake TR2 430W PSU (I'm getting a 600W) an old Optical Drive, 1TB 7200RPM Hitachi HDD, and 2x1GB Crucial DDR3 RAM. I have no display on my monitor when I try to plug in my video card (I tried 3 different ones, a 4670, GTX220 and a 5770) and all of them have no display on my monitor. I can't seem to find the problem, as the RAM worked on my previous motherboard just fine, and the videocards worked all along. I think the problems lie in the motherboard or PSU, but I can't seem to know which it is. If someone comes up with a solution that works, I will pay $20 via Paypal. If not, I will RMA my RAM, Motherboard and PSU and get a different PSU. Thank you.

KillerX3189, you did not account for the history of your CPU. Are you recyling an AM2 cpu and placed it on an AM3 mobo?... that combo will not work.... you can place an AM3 CPU onto an AM2/2+ mobo, but not the other way round... should have been pin incompatable so you should have noticed something was wrong...Hope you didn't try to force fit it....

...have tou tried disconnecting evreything and hook up just the mobo/cpu...RAM and the 4670(lowest power draw of the GPU's you have at hand) and see if you can get boot screen... if not are you getting any audilbe alarms from the mainboard?

I've gone in order from mobo+psu then add parts individually. Also, I think I have no bios. When the computer starts, you can usually shut it off instantly with a tap of the power button. I can't do that.

..was this mobo purchased new or used? If used is there any chance that it may have had a failed BIOS update attempt..if the wrong BIOS is copied then the mobo will not boot and I know MSI have a utility for this that comes with the drivers cd, but I have also seen that operation fail to...
