I'm looking at upgrading my processor from a 64 X2 6000+ to a Phenom II x2 555 BE. This is mostly for gaming and I like the 6MB of L3 cache. I'm just wondering if it is really that good. Also I know I might not get one that can, but I like the fact that it could possibly be unlocked to a tri or even quad-core. But all in all for $93, is it a worthy upgrade?

Oh and system specs (of course):
Mobo: Asus M4A785-M
RAM: 4x1GB Mushkin Enhanced DDR2 800mhz
GPU: XFX ATI Radeon HD 1GB 4770
HDD: 350GB Samsung F1 Spinpoint
PSU: Cooler Master Elite 460W
Current CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

EDIT: Also would it be worth to upgrade to 8GB of RAM, and would I also have to upgrade the PSU?
EDIT(Again): If it is worth upgrading the RAM to 8GB , is 2 sets of G.Skill Dual Channel DDR2 800Mhz 2x2GB any good?
