Gaming CPU

I'm planning on building a computer according to the 550$ gaming computer article here:

My question is whether I should buy the recommended AMD Athlon II X3 435 for 65$ or put some more money and get the AMD Phenom II X3 720 for 104$?

You'll need to buy an aftermarket cooler for the Phenom II X3 720, which will cost on average around $20 or so, bringing the cost to $124. I'd just keep the Athlon II X3 435.
