Gaming CPU

I'm planning on building a computer according to the 550$ gaming computer article here:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-gpu-overclock,2659.html

My question is whether I should buy the recommended AMD Athlon II X3 435 for 65$ or put some more money and get the AMD Phenom II X3 720 for 104$?
CPU descriptions can be found here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007671%20600005863&IsNodeId=1&name=Socket%20AM3

Thanks

  1. You'll need to buy an aftermarket cooler for the Phenom II X3 720, which will cost on average around $20 or so, bringing the cost to $124. I'd just keep the Athlon II X3 435.
