i changed my choice to ZOTAC GEFORCE GTS 250 1GB DDR3-PRICE IS
RS 8000(170$)
i have ASUS M2N68-AM PLUS.AMD ATHLON II X2 240 @ 3.2 GHz.1.25GB of DDR2 333MHz RAM.

You can open the case and see it for syourself...
I assume you have low power PSU, then your PSU will not handle GTS250...
Also for your low resolution, 9600GT or HD4670 will be fine.

i expect your monitor native resolution is 1024x768. at that resolution even 9600GT or 4670 can max out some games out there. before this i owned 9600GSO. with 1024 x 768 i can even push crysis to high setting and still can get average 25-30FPS.

for the GTS 250 you will need a good power supply (true power) with 12v rail rated at 24A.
