Well I was just thinking to buy a new computer and was looking through dell's website for latest deals and price ranges when i came across this one. I did look through every model (xps 9XXX with i7 930's and so on) but of all its models, I think this was the best 1 after customizing. The price is around $1450. Well just wanted to know your opinions and whether this is a good buy.

Yea its a pretty good deal, I bought my computer for $2000 and is actually pretty similar to yours. Though my didnt include all those software goodies.

Here is my rig:

*ASUS Maximus III Formula (Good for overclocking)
*Intel Core i7 860 2.8Ghz
*XFX HD 5870 1gb "XT"(Overclocked from stock,rly good)
*WD GreenPower 1TB
*8gb corsair ddr3 1333Mhz
*Corsair 850W TX
There is more but this is the basic.

I live in Sweden so the prices may vary, but it sure as hell is a good deal for a pre-built.

NOTE* My pc is custom built

yea it cost more since i customized it, the 3 year mcafee ($30) and 3 year complete cover waranty(which cost around $200). I tot of building frm scratch but wth this deal is kinda good for a prebuild retail one. not to mention i get the whole set of peripherals.

thanks for the comment btw
