Budget gaming PC using some existing stuff.

Hey guys,

I want to buy a new pc, keeping it really cheap as I am emigrating in 8 months. I simply want the pc to be able to run the new Starcraft2 and modern warfare games online.

I have priced up something that fits my price bracket but want to find out if it will do for these games. The performance does not have to be highest quality, I have run medium to low graphics setting on most games and it wont bother me.

CPU Intel i3 530
MoBo Gigabyte H55M-D2H
GPU GT240 DDR5 512mb 128 bit graphics card
RAM 2GB DDR3 1333

This is about the cheapest I can get with sticking to the 1156 CPU slots and DDR3 memory. Do you think it will perform well enough, I am primarily concerned with the Mobo CPU combination as I am quite satisfied with the level of the Graphics card.

Hello and welcome to the forums
Yes it can handle wow on low-medium settings(or even some on high,if you lower the resolution), however if you are using a 64bit OS,consider upgrading to 4GB later

grab a 4850 for 100$ instead, it's much better imo
