Pc wont boot new gskill ram

Hello,
Just got two 4gb sticks of gskill ddr3 1333 10666. Now i didnt see this when i ordered them, but the pack says designed for intel lga1156. I'm running 775 chipset core2 quad. My pc wont boot up after install. Could that be why? I mean i thought that all ddr3 ram was the same as long as your board supports it. I'm using a asus p5g43t-m pro board, which supports ddr3 1333.

Asus boards can be picky about ram; check the board specs carefully, especially the ram QVL list. 4 gb sticks may not be supported in all brands.
