Hello,

Im trying to upgrade my friends computer and its a Packard Bell computer the numbers of the mother board are: ALT-CO2 , FSP280-60PNA-I(PF) and PN-B020248778 . I know it has a 2.8 Hz Processor , and 190MB ram. The HDD is a Maxtor around 33GB. Could you please give me the specs on this motherboard so I know what memory I can upgrade to and also the HDD. THank you.

Use cpuz, a free download to confirm that your board (packard bell cuba) is the msi 7301 with via chipset. Your packard bell case should work with most micro-atx boards, so upgrading isn't a problem. But by the time you spend for the board, cpu, ram, power supply (which I recommend with any older system) you may be better off buying another new or used system instead of tearing down a working old one; if it works, sell it intact or use it for a spare.
