Dead CPU?

2 weeks ago i built my new computer with no problems at all. today, however, when i went to use it, the screen immediatly locked up. when i tried to reboot it, my monitor, mouse, and keyboard wouldn't work. when i pulled the cover off, i noticed that the dram and cpu lights were red on my sabertooth x58. My guess is my CPU died for whatever reason. any suggestions before i RMA it?

try clear CMOS (click button) otherwise it could be dead i had similar problem and found out my PSU had a problem and it damaged my CPU ram HDD and i had to replace all that

ok, i just tried that, but it's still the same. how would i check to see if my power supply has a problem? I would hate for this to keep happening.

lol if its happened then your CPU is dead and u need a PSU tester
