I have intel core 2 duo e4500 2.21 ghz with 3gb ram

Hello,i have core 2 duo cpu e4500.Will 5770 graphic card work on it.

  1. it will work if
    1) you have a 400w PSU
    2) you get a 2.0 card if you have a PCI-E x16 1.0 slot, if you have a 2.0 slot then any 2.0 or 2.1 card will work.

    Motherboard? Power Supply Unit? Monitor?

    HD5770 may be overkill for your need...
    We need more info here...
  4. i have 19" monitor and 500w+psu......and i think these requirements are enough for HD5770......now i am currently have 8600gt and it runs fine.

  7. What make of PSU have you got? A psu that came with a case or with a pre-made computer can sometimes not put out as many watts as it says it will, especially if It is old. what games do you play, and I'm assuming your monitor res is either 1440 x 900, 1280 x 1024?
  8. i bought my psu seprate.....n its brand new....i wud love to play games on medium res but with high settings

    ok so what make is your psu? e.g Antec, crossair?

    The resolution that you have wull effect your gaming experience and the performance of the graphics card so what is your native resolution of your monitor?
  11. i got of antec.......n the res is 1280 by 960
  12. A 500w Antec can easily handle the card and at that resolution the HD5770 should be able to max out almost any game.
