Prostitution should be legal?

Morally, I think it's fine. I guess my concern would be associated with the spreading of disease. Take that out, I think it's fine.

If prostitution were legal, you'd see less spreading of diseases. If it were legal in brothels, like in that one Nevada county (I am pretty sure it's not legal in all of Nevada), street prostitution would decrease dramatically, and because brothels would most likely always test their bitches and require condom use, you'd have less diseases.

Prostitution should totally be legalized. I would never use one, because that's pretty pathetic (but there are a lot of pathetic people out there), but the cost and harm of making it illegal are much greater than the cost and harm of it being legal.

it shouldnt be legal. it promotes disorder in the society. prostitution is a sin just like killing a person or stealing something so it can never be made legal. i know this poll wont decide its legal state all over the world but if u think it should be made legal than all the other crimes should be made legal. some people may say that its not a crime because a prostitute is willing for that act herself. but its the wrong way. sex is a wedding gift that should always be opened after the wedding with your partner. this is human nature. sex isnt meant to be practiced with a woman who is not your wife.
if for instance (not in a lifetime!!) prostitution is made legal then every poor woman will go for it. and this is what results in a disorder in the society.

There is no logic in your statement above though. Relgion is based on faith and evolution is based on science. Science uses the scientific method to back up its claims. Religion uses faith.

Anthropology has volumes of evidence to support evolution. Religion has no evidence to disprove it let alone prove that we all came from Adam and Eve.

the jewish religion and the christian/catholic religion were god's own religion for specific regions of the world. messengers came to respective people with God's words. but the manuscripts of these religions have been changed by the people so they are not as they used to be when they were delivered to the people.

islam is an exception. it is still in the form in which it was revealed.

evolution didnt shape out the world as we know it today. think about it. if everything was allowed to run on its own then nothing would have been alright. if we humans evolved from lower life creatures then they shouldnt be there. thats what the theory says. the most sucsessful species wins and it continues to live. and i cant think of a specie more sucsessful than the human being. then why is it that there are literally billions of other creatures living in this world. they should have perished.
