External HDD or Flash Drive

Hi folks,

I'm in the market to back up some of my files. I think at most, I have no more than about 60GB of storage that I want to keep safe in the event of an alien invasion or nuclear summer... So, what would you guys recommend? In addition, of the type of storage you recommend, can you recommend a brand? Money is not really an object, but still worth considering.

Just remember nothing is truly safe. If it is important - save it in 2 or three different places. There are also services you can buy that will back-up your data for a fee. At my work all of our network storage is backed up - I get it for free. ;-)
