The only thing I'm uncertain of is the RAM and SATA 6.0 Gb/s vs. 3.0 Gb/s. How do the RAM timings and cas latency affect my performance? Should go with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s HDD and mobo(mobo is also USB 3.0)?

For mobo + HDD what I'm looking at is the following

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073WD Caviar Blue 7200 RPM 500 GB 16MB cache SATA 3.0 Gb/s HDD

= $249.97(shipped w/o taxes)

vs.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131621Asus P7P55D-E PRO LGA 1156 Intel P55 mobo(usb 3.0 and 6.0 Gb/s sata)
+
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136544 WD Caviar Black 7200 RPM 640 GB 6.0 Gb/s 64 MB cache

= $279.96(shipped w/o taxes)

So I guess what I'm asking is: Is my stuff compatible, will the 650W PSU be enough for the 5850 and the possibility of two in Xfire, Is the $30 more worth the 6.0 Gb/s SATA(+ 2 USB 3.0 ports) and should I be choosing something with different mem timings/cas latency?
