Hello,
I have an Asus CS5111. I want to know if I can put a processor in it that has a faster FSB. The native FSB on the computer is 800 MHz and I want to know if the system supports faster FSB.

I have not found enough specs on Asus's website. If you look there you will find my computer in the support page under "Desktop PC >> Home PC >> CS5111"

I am considering upgrading it to the following processors:
Intel e6500
Intel Core 2 Duo
Intel Core 2 Extreme
Intel Core 2 Quad

If you think or know that any of these processor will or will not work please let me know.

The motherboard isn't the limiting factor on what CPU you can upgrade, but the bios rev is. You should email Asus and ask if the bios they wrote for that system supports any other CPUs. I've seen that model shipped with an E5200 (also 800mhz) FSB but that doesn't mean the Pentium Dual Core E6xxx will work.

The DRAM works separate from the FSB and will work in a ratio to each other.
