Maybe. If you have a card reader for the card, and the appropriate software. I'm not really familiar with any software though, sorry. Just make sure you don't write to the card.

Depends. I doubt the data itself is deleted, just the file pointer or whatever it is called that indicates the location of the data. Therefore, if the card hasn't been written to, it is possible to retrieve the data itself.

I've used it successfully a couple times for CF & MS memory cards

^+1 that App or most recovery Apps can do the same. Pull the SD/memory card and use the lock until you retrieve.
