Hi,
Old Specs:
- Motherboard: M2N-SLI Deluxe
- Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
- RAM: 2xDDR2 256MB
- RAM Brand: TA

New Specs:
- RAM: 1xDDR2 2GB
- RAM Brand: KUK

Steps of producing the problem:

1. Before installing the new RAM, Windows XP was running normally. Then, after almost two hours from installing the new RAM along with the old ones, Windows kept restarting or giving BSOD.
2. I removed the new RAM but again Windows refused to operate as before.
3. Removed the old RAM and installed the new one. Tried to install Windows 7. The setup stops at the language step.

I ran memtest but I couldn't find a problem. Where do you think the problem can be?

Try resetting BIOS before next startup.

After clearing the CMOS I could install Windows. Thank you for the advice.
