Hello there, Here are the components I plan on ordering for my new build. I will be buying exclusively from Newegg and have at the very most $800 to spend. I plan on overclocking the cpu. Overall I think this gives me the most bang-for-buck, but any suggestions would be welcome, thanks.

This will primarily be a gaming rig but It will also be used for powerpoint presentations, m$ word, audio mixing, and Hd video encoding

Top tier for PSU's would be Antec, Corsair, Seasonic and Thermaltake Toughpower line.

Several of the corsairs, HX line, and 950 or greater TX line are actually made by Seasonic, and in general, seasonic makes the best PSU's.

Antec is a bit more varied, they ahve some excellent psu's and some merely ok ones.

Corsair's popular 750/850TX and the Thermaltake Toughpower line is built by Channel Wells, who makes probably the cheapest excellent PSU's.

The OCZ 80plus lines, moxdstream and Fatal1ty are not as good as any of the above, but still acceptable. Those are generally the lowest prices PSU's you'll want to consider.

edit: Silverstone also makes some great PSU's. However their prices are kinda poorly positioned. They're about the...

That case got some pretty bad reviews. Only 25% 5 eggs? yeesh.

Other than the case and the 2nd tier PSU it looks like a solid build. I think you did a good job of prioritizing the GPU over the CPU for a gaming build. Alot of people don't do that and they make some crazy i7-930 build with a 5770, which is utterly retarded.

Well my reasoning for the case is that considering my $800 budget, I'm wiling to deal with an incovienent build process if it means I can afford a 5870 for graphics. But you said the power supply was "2nd tier", how so?
