Internal USB Cable Extender

I just finished a build using a Cooler Master 932. I have a USB 2.0 card reader (generic). Since this gets much more usage then my DVD I wanted to put it in the top slot for easier access. Unfortunately, at that position, the cable is too short by about 6". I called around to the local shops here but they have nothing and have no idea where I could find an extender.

The cable is a standard female to plug into the mobo. I had to move the reader to the bottom slot to get it to connect. While not a showstopper in any sense I'd still like to get back to the top.

Anyone know where I can get a female-female USB short length cable?

Wouldn't you need a male/female extension?
