Hard Drive replacement

I need to replace a Western Digital AV WD3200AVJB 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Internal AV Hard Drive for an American Dynamics EDVR that is connected to a security camera. This HD is no longer made. Can someone point me to a HD that would be compatible? I found a Western Digital AV-GP WD3200AVVS 320GB 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal AV Hard Drive -Bare Drive. Would that work? I also found Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAJB 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Internal Hard Drive but does it need to be an AV?I contacted Western Digital but they said that I needed to contact the motherboard manufacturer. I just need a replacement for the existing drive. Can anyone help? Thanks.

SATA drives will not work on an IDE (ATA-100) controller. You will need a 3.5" drive with and IDE interface. It doesn't appear that WD makes A/V drives with an IDE interface anymore.

AV hard drives have larger caches to help with large data reads and writes.

And the Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAJB 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" is the one you need.
