Which motherboard is better for a mostly gaming computer

Hello, im building a new pc and about to buy a motherboard i came to 2 choices but cant tell which one is better, since its my first build. Intel BOXDX58SO2 Socket LGA1366 Motherboard thats the first one and this is the link for it

this is the second one ASUS P6X58D Premium Motherboard and this is the link

so which one is better, and if u can suggest a better one for around the same price that would be amazing and thanks for ur help

I would go with the ASUS P6X58D-E, instead. It is basically the same board as the Premium without the second LAN. I wouldn't go with Intel boards, as they are the best over clocking setups. The ASUS board I listed, is one of the best you can buy for an X58 for price to features / performance.

On a side-note, why not a Sandy Bridge (P67) setup instead?? An i5 2500K CPU will perform better than most X58 CPU's for gaming at a lower price. You'll only really see an issue in a 3+ card setup at high resolutions (multiple monitors) on the P67 platform.
