I am having problems identifying what firmware is running on my OCZ Agility 3 SSD.
So, 6 months ago I built a new pc.
Gigabyte Z68AP D3
1 TB Hitachi HDD
8 GB Ram
Windows 7 Home Premium
A few weeks ago I added an OCZ Agility 3 to use as a cache for the HDD. I used the Gigabyte EZ SRT utility to set up the SSD to accelerate the HDD. When I open the RST (Rapid Storage Technology) utility I can see that the 'the storage system is configured to use a solid state drive as a cache device' and it shows the OCZ SSD as the cache volume and the internal disk as being accelerated. When I first installed the SSD the RST utility showed ithe SSD to be running 2.15 Firmware. 4 days ago, I noticed it was now reporting that the SSD had the latest 2.22 firmware even though I did not update it.
I decide to use device/disk manager to see what firmware was installed. However, I cannot see my OCZ Agility 3 in device manager or disk management. During POST I am prompted to press ctrl+i to configure SATA controllers (pressing ctrl+i confirms that the controllers are already set up properly) According to the BIOS RAID(XHD) is enabled and everything appears normal.
I installed the latest OCZ toolbox but when I run it I get a message saying 'No supported drives found'.
Further info: I have the latest versions of RST, EZSRT and BIOS for my mobo. OS is installed to my HDD.
