Vista out of Range with GF 8600GT

I've installed my Win Vista Ultimate 32Bit and the newest Nvidia Graphicdrivers. But when I want to boot my computer it displays the message "out of range" on my 19" LCD. I`ve already tried to boot in Safe Mode and then reboot, but it didn`t work. The monitor is connected with a VGA-Cable.
what can I do? Help me please.

  1. Out of range normally means the default resolution is out of range for the monitor. I'm not sure how to solve that problem though.
