Cant get my monitor to reset the way it was its magnified and nothing looks the

i'm in school and my teacher did something to my monitor and its magnified and not at all the way it used to be and the things i look at won't x out after looking at them can someone help me

Perhaps the resolution was changed?
Right click on the desktop and choose properties. You will find the resolution on the settings tab.
