I would say the Seasonic X650
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The X650 is best for being 80+ gold, fully modular, and rated slightly higher than the rest of the units in the group(54A vs 52A), but its trade off is significantly higher price over the HX650

Meh, I stand by my decision. It's impossible to ask what the best piece of hardware is, because opinion is the major basis for that decision. Not saying your guys' suggestions aren't great, just saying I stand behind mine for the above reason.

I use the Corsair 650w. This PSU has been highly regarded as the best in many reviews. Best because of being reliable. It is rated correctly and is affordable. Corsair also includes a 5 year warranty.

I have the antec earthwatts 650 and its a capable PSU. I'd recommend this over most other (non-modular) brands.

Corsair and Seasonic are two brands that have a reputation for high quality power supplies that consistently earn high marks in technical reviews. They are reliable, stable, and come with a 5 year warranty. Some of the newer models come with a 7 year warranty.

Currently I have a Seasonic X650 Gold that I purchased 8 months ago. I can confirm that it is an almost silent psu. It has a unique design which allows for passive cooling most of the time. Voltage has been well within specifications and rock steady.
