Samsung 830 vs OCZ Vertex 4

Looking to buy my first SSD to run my OS and games on. I am looking at the Samsung 830 128GB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168..., or the OCZ Vertex 4 128GB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168.... I want the OCZ since it is the faster one, but it seems that a lot of people have issues with it. However the Samsung 830 has fantastic reviews, but is a little slower. Anyone have a recommendation on which one to get?

P.S. I have a place to mount the SSD, but it would be a real pain to get it in the proper mounting bracket. I saw on a video that someone used double sided tape to tape the SSD to the case. Is that actually OK to do?

I would go with the Samsung because of reliability and nobody is going to notice the speed difference!

Agreed. I own a Samsung 830 and love it. The difference in speed is insignificant. The 830 also comes with a mounting bracket (thought some places offer two options, one dos not include a bracket but is a tad cheaper).

You can mount it however you want, but personally I would never use tape as a means to mount anything in my PC.

I actually went with neither, I chose to spend more and get a 120 GB Intel 520 SSD. Increases my boot time by 400%.
