Hey,

I'm trying to decide between these two monitors from Asus:

23", 16:9, $190 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

22", 16:10, $160 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I'm going to be using it pretty much solely for gaming, which would you recommend more? for $30 more, you get the higher 1920x1200 resolution (vs. 1680x1050) and wider size, but you also get a lower screen size ratio. I'm currently accustomed to a 16:10 monitor, so I'm wondering how much different it will feel.

Any thoughts/ideas?
I will hopefully get out to Best Buy/Fry's sometime soon and just look at some myself to see, but it would be awesome if you guys could give me some help! :)

I'd go for the 16:10 monitor, because mainly that's the resolution which gamers play at. Mainly 4:3 is old skool, 16:9 is for movies or HD content, and 16:10 is for gaming and general computing, although more and more monitors seem to be made in 16:9 resolution nowadays.

Yes, go for the 16:10, I changed to 21'5 / 16:9 monitor and I'm crying everyday for my old 19' /16:10 monitor :p
