Hello,

I have been using this computer for almost 2 years and its been working fine, except for a few cases where I was having trouble starting the computer. It would start up, run for 5 seconds, then shut down. Resetting CMOS has always fixed the issue. Tonight, I decided to move the computer to the basement (its much cooler). However, the computer will run for 5 seconds and then stop. The motherboard power indicator stays on the whole time and every component spins (fans, graphics card, hard drive, etc.) when I turn the computer on. What could be the problem? How can I fix it?

:??:

A little embarrassing, but the power button was jammed. This gave the computer the signal to shut off after the 5 seconds. Lol. I feel like an idiot, but its always the little things that get you! :D
