Just want to tell everyone that I think it is really weird that I can run bad company 2 (full game) at at 1440x900 everything maxed out except v-sync (personal preference). I mean AAx16q and AFx16 ,high settings, that HBAO thing on. My system specs are pretty much below midrange:

-Crappy dell inspiron 531 case and motherboard
-amd athlon x2 3800+
-2 gig ddr2 ram
-250 gb hard drive
-Crappy optical drive
-nvidia gtx 260 core 216 superclocked (i know i know)

I just cant understand why crysis lags a lot with/without AA,AF. Both games look pretty much the same. My friend and I were really amazed when I run BBC2 everything maxed out. I don't know my fps, surely not 60+ fps but at least it does not lag. Anyone had a similar experience before?

Crysis is a game with bad coding, it means you MUST have a VERY HIGH END computer to run it without any lag...
I'm not surprised that you can maxed out BC2 with your machine... :)

I'm not sure if BC2 is more CPU dependent than GPU dependent. But if it is CPU dependent then you might lag a bit more at 1920 x 1200. Would suggest getting a new CPU, but if your CPU is slot 939, it might be out of the question as you would have to get a new computer essentially.

because Crysis is one of the worst coded games ever and if the game sucked (it doesn't) Crytek would have been laughed out of the video game business for making it.

No, you can't.
I think 1920x1200 and High Setting are too high for your system, especially your CPU and GPU.
OC it a little bit or get a new CPU, then you will be fine.
