Hi everyone. I just want to ask which is better:

Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2
or
Asus M4N68T-M V2

They are in the same price range (though Gigabyte is a 'little' more expensive - $3) and have the same chipset.
Also, can they unlock the hidden core from an Athlon X3 440 3.0GHz?

System specs(Soon to be):

Athlon X3 440 3.0GHz
4GB GEIL DDR3
GT240 1GB DDR3
500watts Psu

thanks.

Hi Tom,

Are you OC'ed your athlon 440 on M4N68T-M V2 mobo? If yes, I hope you can help me a bit.
Actually I just built this new system and want to do some overclocking, as this is my very first attempt for OC. I've try few things but no success, so please let me know if you have any insight for this mobo if you have one.

I'll look forward your reply, thanks.

I have both unlocked a Triple core AMD Athlon II X3 440 to a Quad core AMD Phenom II X4 840 and overclocked both on the GA-M68MT-S2P using both the bios and ET6, you just have to remember toi up the voltages and make sure that you are running a decent cooler fan.
