Get the Asrock board for more features..contrary to popular opinion, the asrock board will perform great..Asus is a great brand name...but thats why everyone likes it..the name! They have an excellent marketing team dont they? To sway even the most oblivious people into buying their things without knowing anything about it simply because of the brand name..Think of it like buying Jordans over some addidas...they both look good..but one will make u feel better cuz more was spent and it has the Jordan moniker

A more accurate comparison would be:

ASRock P67 Pro3 versus ASUS P8P67

OR

ASRock P67 Extreme6 versus ASUS P8P67 Pro or Deluxe

I chose the ASRock P67 Pro3 and haven't regretted it. 4.8GHz for my 2500K and rock-solid stable with 12GB of Ripjaws X 1600 CL9 RAM (one 2x4GB kit and one 2x2GB kit). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ASRock to friends and family ... or random strangers on the internet.

+1

My brother uses a older asrock board with the 770 chipset with an am3 socket and it works wonders for the price, They have great customer service if you can understand Chinese English.

not too sure you even need p67 for that. It really depends how much you want to spend. but you can make a good net-desktop for under $400 and it will work just fine for anything the web can throw at it. now if you render and make clips to put on he web and you want it done faster than get p67.
