Core i5 450m or Core i5 540m

Which is better? What's the difference?

The 540m is the "higher end" version. It's turbo boost will clock up to over 3ghz. The 450m will clock up to only around 2.6ghz. However the two are the same in every other respect including the integrated "on chip" graphics.

On paper the 520m is a hair better. Again the only difference is the turbo boost. The 520m will clock up to 2.9ghz from 2.4ghz where the 450m will clock to 2.66ghz from 2.4ghz.
