PARTS PREFERENCES: No real preference; I'd like to keep everything to a pretty small form factor so it's not too gaudy in my entertainment center furniture thingy; HDMI output a must

OVERCLOCKING: No SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080 (this IS equivalent to the 1080 resolution in High Def, right?)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would like a quiet, low power consumption PC that won't look out of place next to my soon-to-be-replaced DVD player

  1. Yes that is HD video res.

    I think you might go over 500, but we'll see. I assume you need a blu-ray player which means you will also need expensive blu-ray software.
