APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Soon. Within the next month or so.

BUDGET RANGE: 600-650. Somewhere around that range. Not picky.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Some gaming, some general computing, Photoshop.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor. Let's not worry about speakers or keyboard/mouse right now.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg, others fine too.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U-S-A, U-S-A...

PARTS PREFERENCES: None really.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe. Most likely, not right now.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900. Possibility to upgrade to better resolution in the future would be nice, though.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Pretty easy going about this. As long as it can competently play newer games I'd be more than happy. I don't need any snazzy looking case or anything like that.

I was originally looking at the Athlon II x3 to start building around, but I'd be open to another if it might help me get more out of my investment.
Thanks fellas (and possibly ladies!)!

Lowest I could get is 800 dollars on this i5 build.

So it's really up to the OP. The AMD build will fare just as well in gaming as this, but this should excel in Photoshop. At a cost of 150 more.

If you want to go i5, and dont mind having some PCIe lane bandwidth slowdown if you use 2 GPUS AND usb3 at the same time, then you can save the money and get the cheaper gigabyte board.

This is now only $96 over buget, but again, its up to you to pick
