Updating pc on the cheap

hello im looking to update my pc (specs at bottom) due to it being slower than i would like in genral surfing, music, playing cod uo. i also would like to play cod mw2. ive never done this before and am looking for help. i want to keep it cheap but want it to be able to play games comforatably if i have to pay more so be it. i think i need a new mobo, processor and graphics card but have a look and see what you think.

Could you be a bit clearer about which RAM sticks these are? specifically the parts number of the two 1GB sticks.

I'm guessing they are so old that they will either not run or be a serious handicap, but it depends on what they are.

Yeah, thats called old RAM. Considering newer RAM has over twice or three times the speed, I would spend the extra $100 for newer RAM.
