Storage Drive from Old PC to New Not Visible on New PC

Hey guys,

I checked the forums here and have been doing research for the past 4+ hours but can't seem to fix my problem and haven't seen a solution online. Here are my system specs:

Intel Core i7-3770k
PowerColor PCS+ AX7870 2GBD5-2DHPP
Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP rev 1.0
Boot: OCZ Vertex 3 120GB (new)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5 TB (old)
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB
Windows 7 Home Premium OEM

Short Version:

I recently built new system and got an SSD for boot drive and taking secondary drive from my old PC for storage (was a storage drive on old PC too). Drive works in old Windows XP computer (just checked) set to IDE mode, does not work in new Windows 7 computer set to either IDE or AHCI mode. When reconnected to old PC, all files are accessible and moveable without damage. On new PC drive is visible and shows as healthy and available in Intel Rapid Storage Technology but is not visible in Disk Manager or My Computer. I tried multiple SATA ports and cables and all of them work properly with other drives on all ports and with all cables. I have installed all Windows 7 updates from online and installed all drivers from the CD that came with my MOBO (as well as newer drivers from website). Additionally I have updated the BIOS to the most recent version and tried to find drive with Intel RST both enabled and disabled in BIOS.

I am officially stumped. Can someone PLEASE help me? If you want the long version of all the troubleshooting I've done up to this point, just let me know and I'll elaborate.

Thank you so much for your time, really means a lot.
