If anyone could give me tips on how to begin the installation process with drivers and such that would be great.

Looks good. Still not good with the software/drivers part of installation... if you did what I told you to do, it'd probably turn into a mac or something....

the only change i would have done is motherboard, i would have opted for 790GX or 890GX for crossfire later down the road

and with only ever having a single GPU, the 650w is a tad overkill unless you go to a dual GPU like the 5970

as for installation, there really isn't a whole lot, install the graphics drivers (get the latest at amd.com) after the OS installs and go (as windows Vista/7 will have drivers for the chipset)
