Its taking up around 50 to 60 percent or 1.97 Gb of my 4gb just running a few programs. Im running windows 7 32bit which i know only supports 3gb of ram and im wondering if thats the problem. please help me out as i'm really concerned. Windows will prefetch programs so that everything seems to load faster. If a program wants to utilise more memory than "seems" to be unavailable, Windows will empty the prefetched memory and allocate it to the requesting application. | Report abuse Ask the community Publish Tom's Hardware>Forum>Memory>How much Ram does this Normally Take?> Related ressources: ForumCurious how much ram my MOBO can take Forumhow much space does Win Mobile 2003 take ?
