Hello, i have a phenom II x4 810 cpu, and a standard heatsink that came with it. The thing is it's really loud, i checked the temperatures in everest, its 45 javascript:void(0)degrees celsius on idle, and the heatsink is spinning at 5000-5400rpm. That's not normal is it?

That's probably pretty normal. Mayba a few degrees over what others get, but if you're using the stock cooler I assume you haven't spent loads on a large case with lots of cooling etc.

45 is a safe temp to idle at, but if you want to drop it just go out and buy a £20 after-market cooler.
