Scraping a DVD Drive question.

I am planning to scrap a old dvd drive of mine. So when I took it apart from the old pc, I noticed that it had a IDE connector. Not a SATA connector. Also my motherboard has SATA only not IDE.

I am pretty much asking if anyone has a cheap IDE to SATA whatever so I can use my DVD drive with my motherboard.
I prefer newegg and free shipping.

I am scraping a 8x DVD+R/RW DL drive from a HP Pavillion a714x

Just buy a new DVD burner, you can get them for under $20.00USD.

A simple ide to usb adapter works. There is also an ide to sata converter but not as reliable.
