Questions on gaming build

the following is the list of items that are decided and yet to be decided :-

Processor : Rana ( AMD X3 435 ) Decided

Graphics : ATI Radeon 5850

Motherboard : Need help choosing one with AM3 Socket. wont do much overclocking but need atleast 8x/8x crossfire support and ddr3 support. dont care about usb 3.0 and SATA 6gb/s so conclusion : cheap and best mobo

RAM : DDR3 2 GB.. 2 questions, should i upgrade to 4 gb later or is 2 gb just enough? plus, 1 x 2 gb or 2 x 1 gb?

Optics : cheap 20-30$ option ( no need of suggestions on this one )
Hard-drive : 500 GB ( no need of suggestions on this one )

PSU : Is 500W enough to power all these? or should i spend a little more on 600W just in case i go for xfire in the future?

Case : Which brands should i look into? any tips on choosing one?

I live in the middle east and wont buy online... the parts here is also a bit more expensive.. my budget can stretch upto 800$... need the best price/performance ratio

P.S. 5850 is apparently good for 1920 x 1080, but is it good for eyefinity too? or should i have x2 for eyefinity unless i turn down settings?

btw how many years can i expect this computer to be playable on, after giving it xfire within a year after build?
