Hi, thanks in advance!
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Possibly this weekend for the promo codes BUDGET RANGE: $1,000 USD Before Rebates but less is more, as they say.
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming (mostly MMOs), surfing the net, standard everyday use
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, case (Antec Nine Hundred)
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, tigerdirect, possibly Microcenter but it'd have to be a sweet deal to make up for the 80 mile drive
PARTS PREFERENCES: Intel - I'm pretty set on the i5-750 but I may be swayed by another Intel.
OVERCLOCKING: Possibly SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Possibly down the line
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: This is a pretty standard build I've seen many variations of here. I'm fairly happy with it but I wouldn't mind upgrading from the 5770 if I can shave off some $$$ elsewhere in the build. Maybe scale down from the 750w psu, etc. Will need a cooler at some point but I won't be overclocking immediately so I think I can hold off on that. Here's hoping the links work since this is only my 2nd post.
