I have 8gbs of space left on my hd running windows 7

I had been running virtual machines on my windows 7 160gb wd hd biostar 12gb of Ram A770E3 then I uninstalled and deleted the program and all virtual machines. I also edit like crazy using adobe premiere pro cs-5 as well as after effects my hard drive has nothing on it and I only 8gbs of space left where is all of this data I do everything on externals?????
