How do you install windows 7 without dvd drive?

I recently built a computer and was in need of a operating system. My good friend had an extra and burned it for me on a usb flash drive. Is there a way for me to install a oem on an empty brand new desktop with a.usb flash drive?

Yes there is.

If your friend have burned the OS on the flashdrive, all you have to do is plug the usb on the computer, reboot the computer and go on boot menu, and select the usb (usually you will see the name or maker of the flashdrive)

U can do it, but do u have your own serial #, as he most likely used his own.
