my only concern is the motherboard says DDR3 1866(OC)/1333/1066 under memory, would i still be able to use the DDR31600 RAM? (hope its not a dumb question lol)

^ I wouldn't say it as your misunderstanding as it should have said "Will support RAM with speeds upto DDR3 1866"...
