I am a bit new at this, but maybe someone can assist me with and answer...

I just purchased a Crucial M4 512GB SSD and currently have it installed into my Alienware M18X R2 as my OS Disk. I also have 2 500GB's HDD's installed and they are currently set as RAID 0. My question is, is this the best way to have them configured?
Also, my intel RAID controller shows that my OS is booting from the SSD, shows that my 2 HDD's are in RAID 0 and there are no errors, but I am not entirely sure how the 2 HDD's are accessed? As stated before, I am very new at this and if any one can "dummy" down how this actually works I would be much appreciative!

I just want to be able to access the 2 HDD's and still boot/run the OS off of the SSD. Like stated before, I can see the drives, there are no errors being reported, but I am not sure if them being in RAID 0 how they actually work being I do not see them in "my computer". Thanks for the help!
