Mini ITX mainboard for Virtual Host

Does anybody know of a mainboard/dimm set that will get me 16-32GB in mini-ITX?

I want to maximize RAM and CPU for the mini-itx formfactor but all I can find is 2x4GB options. Intel, Asus, and Gigabyte have boards that support 2x8GB (DQ67EP,GA-H67N-USB3-B3,P8H67-I Deluxe) but I haven't found any paired DIMM modules in 16GB sets.

Let's say price is no object for the sake of discussion. Thanks for any advice.

The only 2x8GB kits I've seen are ECC memory. Will any of your motherboard choices use ECC memory?

none of my candidate mini-ITX boards take ECC memory. Going to a bit larger formfactor, does anyone know of any Micro-ATX boards that can get above 16GB with RAM available on the market?
