Maybe that design is too smart for me, but how do you connect the chassis Reset/Power switches to the motherboard? All I can find are the Power/Reset smart switches and I don't see any obvious way to plug in the connectors. I have the Pro3 but I assume it is similar to the Extreme4 in this regard. Any advice?

Since you didn't specify what ASRock P67 MOBO I looked at the more basic ASRock P67 Pro. There should be a set of wires from the Case with corresponding connections to the MOBO headers.

Look in the Manual for 'System Panel Header' it's a 9-pin connector 4 top/5 bottom:

PLED+ | PLED- | PWRBTN | Ground |
-----------------------------------------------------------
HDLED+ | HDLED- | Ground | RESET | Dummy |

PLED = Power LED indicator
PWRBTN = Power Button
HDLED = Hard Drive indicator
RESET = Reset / under Power button on case
