My build is asus p7p55d-e with core i5- 750 processor. I'm not that into overclocking and i cant find the right ram for the mobo.

My budget is £100 for ram, can anyone recommend me some that give a solid performanc since i'm using them for moderate gaming i.e left 4 dead etc

thanks

Get any 2x2 GB 1333 mhz CAS Latency 7 set that is not made by OCZ (OCZ's sticks have compatibility problems, especially with Intel). The top brands would be G.Skill and Corsair, but you typically have to pay a premium for Corsiar sticks.

I would go for any 2x2GB combination that is offered by any of the big brands. Talking from what experience I have with a similar setup that I built last week for myself.

These are my specs:
P7P55D-E Pro
Core i5 750
2x2GB Transcend DDR3-1333

Have had no problems with playing any games, even with only one RAM stick in. Any decent RAM combination should be able to play Left4Dead no problem.

Mine plays TF2 @ 300FPS (wont go faster because I haven't turned the frame limiter off).
