It's the exact same memory in every way it's just one doesn't have a picture.

Of course the logical thing to do is go with the the one that has the picture.

To help me help you...Why are you getting more RAM and what make you choose thing certain ram.To be even more specific can you plz list your full system specs??!!!

Here's a few good AM3 MOBOs, if your gravitating towards CF then focus on the AMD 890FX Side-by-side AM3 MOBOs http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submi...|13-157-208^13-157-208-TS%2C13-157-207^13-157-207-TS%2C13-157-198^13-157-198-TS%2C13-157-196^13-157-196-TS%2C13-131-655^13-131-655-TS The ASRock 890FX DELUXE3 would be my pick for 2-WAY CF.

Then either set should work fine, though I'd probably go with the F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL mainly because they're proven track record.
